- Payment details (processed securely via Apple and not stored by us).
- Tasks, notes, attachments, and other content you create.
- Optional profile details, such as your date of birth and hobbies, which help personalize your experience (for example, providing relevant task suggestions or sending a friendly “Happy Birthday” message).
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device details (model, operating system, app version).
- Usage data (features used, frequency of interaction, session data, interaction with AI tools).
- Approximate or precise location (if you enable Location Services).
- Push notification settings and delivery logs.
1.3 AI-Related Data
- Text, images, or voice inputs you submit to AI features
- AI-generated responses produced for you.
- AI usage statistics (e.g., token consumption per month).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve TaskBot's features.
- Personalize AI suggestions and productivity insights.
- Tailor task suggestions, daily tips, or greetings (for example, celebrating your birthday or generating task ideas related to your hobbies).
- Deliver location-based or weather-based recommendations.
- Process subscriptions and manage payments.
- Send reminders, product updates, or promotional notifications (if enabled).
3. AI Data Processing and Third-Party AI Services
TaskBot provides AI-powered features that generate suggestions, summaries, writing assistance, and task recommendations based on user-generated content.
When you use AI features, certain content may be securely transmitted to trusted third-party AI providers, including xAI (Grok API), solely for the purpose of generating AI responses within the App.
This may include:
- Tasks, notes, or other written content you create
- Voice transcripts generated from speech recognition
- Photos or images submitted for AI analysis
- Contextual information necessary to produce relevant AI responses
- Limited usage metadata related to AI feature performance
AI processing occurs only after you explicitly consent within the App to the use of AI-powered features.
We do not send payment information, passwords, Apple billing details, or authentication credentials to AI providers.
We do not sell AI input data, use it for advertising, or permit AI providers to build user profiles from your content.
Our AI service providers are contractually required to maintain appropriate security, confidentiality, and data protection safeguards comparable to industry standards.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information when using AI features.

4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Service providers (e.g., Apple for payments, Firebase and iCloud for storage, xAI for AI processing).

- Analytics partners, using aggregated and anonymized data to improve app performance.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored securely using Firebase and Apple iCloud, with encryption in transit and at rest.
- API keys and credentials are managed securely on our servers.
- Optional profile details (like birthday and hobbies) are stored securely and never shared for marketing or advertising.
- While we take reasonable precautions, no system is entirely immune to unauthorized access.
6. Location & Notifications
- Location data is used only for contextual suggestions such as nearby places and weather updates.
- Push notifications are used for reminders, updates, and AI-generated insights.
You may disable these features at any time in your device settings.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
We protect such transfers through contractual safeguards consistent with global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses).

TaskBot is not intended for users under 13.
